A luxury e-commerce experience for a Saudi Arabian fragrance house — crafted to embody quiet elegance and artisanal heritage.
Jassar Perfumes is a Saudi Arabian luxury fragrance brand offering rare ouds, deep leathers, and artisanal scents. The project involved designing a full e-commerce platform — from product discovery to user account management — with a visual language that mirrors the brand's philosophy of quiet luxury.
The design needed to feel premium without being cold, and functional without losing its editorial soul. Every screen — product listings, the fragrance library, order management, addresses, and loyalty points — was considered as part of a single coherent experience.

Attention to Craft
Luxury fragrance is a deeply sensory, emotional experience. Translating that to a screen introduced several real tensions.
Unlike physical retail, customers can't smell before buying. The product pages needed to convey mood, story, and quality through visuals and copy alone — building confidence without touch.
Users don't always know what they want. Filtering by "scent notes" or "collection" is non-standard. The library needed a filter system that was intuitive yet powerful for fragrance-literate customers.
The dashboard required orders, addresses, loyalty points, and account settings — all interconnected. The challenge was making a feature-rich area feel calm and organized, not overwhelming.
Arabic is right-to-left. Every layout, grid, and UI pattern had to be planned for both languages without sacrificing aesthetic quality in either direction.
Luxury brands risk feeling generic in digital form. The UI had to avoid common e-commerce patterns and establish a distinctive visual identity tied to the Jassar brand ethos.
Points systems often feel cheap. Jassar needed a loyalty experience that felt like a membership privilege — elegant, transparent, and aligned with its artisanal positioning.
Each problem was addressed through focused design decisions — a cohesive visual language, thoughtful information architecture, and components built with both emotion and function in mind.
A refined palette of deep charcoal, warm gold (#B8960C), and cream whites communicates luxury without ostentation. Every tone was chosen to complement product photography.
A dedicated browsing space with left-sidebar filters (scent profile, volume, price) and a 3-column product grid — designed to feel like a curated editorial rather than a standard shop page.
A persistent left sidebar with avatar, member status, and navigation creates a dashboard feel — organizing Orders, Addresses, Account Details, and Loyalty Points into one calm space.
Loyalty Points presented as a ledger with expiry indicators and a prominent tier card (Elite Member → Diamond). Makes the system feel like a privilege, not a promotion.
All layouts planned with RTL mirroring in mind. Navigation, sidebar, product grids, and form flows were all evaluated for both Arabic and English at wireframe stage.
Each category opens with a full-width editorial hero — dark, atmospheric, with a strong headline and single CTA — establishing mood before commerce.
Before any visual polish, each screen was wireframed in a clean grayscale system. The goal was to validate layout hierarchy, content priority, and user flow — without the distraction of color or branding.
The final design system draws from luxury fashion editorial aesthetics — serifed display typography, a disciplined gold-and-dark palette, and generous white space that lets the products breathe.
Elevating the human spirit through the art of fine fragrance since 1924. Quiet luxury for the discerning soul who values depth over noise, and craft over convention.
Analyzed the Jassar brand identity, target audience (Saudi Gulf luxury consumers), and competitor landscape. Defined the tone: editorial, warm, premium — never cold or clinical.
Mapped all key user journeys — Browse → Product → Cart → Checkout, and the full Account dashboard flow — before designing a single screen. RTL considerations were baked in from the start.
Built grayscale wireframes for 5 core screens. Validated grid logic, component hierarchy, and content structure before introducing any visual styling.
Applied the full visual system — typography, gold palette, spacing tokens, imagery treatment, and microinteractions — across all screens. Designed as a reusable Figma component library.
Produced annotated design specs, responsive breakpoints for mobile/tablet/desktop, and a thorough handoff package for the development team.
The Jassar Perfumes project reinforced that luxury e-commerce is as much about atmosphere as it is about function. Every interaction — from browsing the Fragrance Library to checking loyalty points — needed to feel intentional, refined, and worthy of the brand.
The result is a digital experience that mirrors the brand's physical world: calm, curated, and built for someone who values craft. The bilingual-ready system ensures it serves both Arabic and English audiences without compromise.
